The start of this trail runs through beautiful high mountain meadows filled with lupines. We never knew they smelled so sweet until we hiked here, they were intense! The trail intersects the PCT high up on the mountain, where the views north toward Mt Rainier are pretty great. Lovely trail. Long drive from Portland.
