White River Falls
The top part of this waterfall plunges 90 feet over a basalt shelf, and the lower drop is 44 feet. These falls are testament to the violent geological forces that carved the region millions of years ago. There’s a steep trail down to this point, deep into the canyon where there’s a historic hydroelectric power plant that you can (carefully) climb through, at the base of the falls. It was one of the first hydroelectric power plants in Oregon, and supplied electricity to Wasco and Sherman Counties from 1910-1963.
Printed on acid free archival paper. Signed and numbered.
Two sizes:
12 × 16 is $60 …. 13 × 19 is $70
