Another favorite trail. From the top of Lookout Mountain you get a 360• view and can see four mountains. It’s above timberline, those are white mountain rocks, not snow. A pretty easy trail, I actually did it in flip flops once when I forgot my hiking boots.
Sadly this trail has burned in the 2026 Grasshopper Fire and it is currently closed. Unsure how long it will be unavailable but what a tremendous loss. On the maps I saw of the fire this was pretty much in the bullseye. :((
