Dog Mountain Hike

This is the view from the top of Dog Mountain. The little mountain in the center of the drawing is Wind Mountain (another great hike!)

This hike is very popular in Spring when the Arrowleaf balsamroots (all those yellow sunflowers) are blooming. They blanket the slopes! The hike is rated as “difficult,” but it’s not really that hard, just a loooong ways uphill. And worth it!
