White River Falls

from $75.00
Only 4 available

Another wonderful Oregon State Park. These dramatic falls are testament to the violent geological forces that carved out the central Oregon region. The trail down to here is a series of steep steps, the park itself lies above the falls. These falls provided hydroelectric power many years ago, one of the first such plants in Oregon, it was in operation from 1910-1963!

Prints are on acid-free, archival paper and are printed locally in my neighborhood in Northeast Portland.

I have this in two sizes:

$75 for 12 × 16. $90 for 13 × 19.

View fullsize Here’s another of my new scenic illustrations, it’s Smith Rock State Park. Famous for rock climbing (duh, look at those rocks!) but there are also lots of hiking trails. In Central Oregon not far from Bend, that’s the Crooked River
View fullsize Another year of Dragon Boat Races is over and done! We didn’t do as well as in some years but we still had a blast. No matter where we finish we tried our best. This year we welcomed two new paddlers and a new flag catcher, check out Aysha&rsqu
View fullsize If you have one of my calendars this is the lovely beach scene you just turned to yesterday. June’s illustration is “Low Tide at Hug Point.” There’s nothing like an early morning walk at the Oregon coast!

View fullsize Beautiful new illustration from moi, the Twilight Eagle Sanctuary is on the lower Columbia River. We always stop on our way home from Astoria (and yummy fish and chips) but honestly we’ve never seen any eagles here! I had to find an eagle photo
