My calendar is almost ready ! Well it’s at the printer anyway. I finally finished that last pesky drawing, you can see how it turned out here~it’s the September illustration, Indian Beach. It turned out pretty good (if I do say so myself)

Our beautiful, 100-year-old Douglas Fir died. Unclear why, probably climate change. It had to come down.

It was a very very very sad day. But quite a show by the daredevil arborist.

My telescope did a pretty good job of capturing the very cool, very long lunar eclipse last night. It was so clear in Portland!

Perfect summer day for getting my ORU out for a kayak trip. Scappoose Creek has a very cool gizmo to launch the boat, see last pic. Mt St Helens looked like it was erupting again with billowing white clouds. Turtles and snowy egret.
Such a nice day.
