Scenic Illustrations

Inspired by the great outdoors.

Follow me to some beautiful places!

  Hi! Thanks for stopping by.

I’m Christine, a designer and illustrator working in beautiful Portland, Oregon.

I spend my work day at my computer creating publications, branding, infographics, and maps. But on weekends, I often head out to explore the forests and wide open spaces of the Pacific Northwest.

I wanted a way to share the beauty of our little corner of the world.

So I started drawing.

These illustrations combine my love of design with my love of the wild world. They are meticulously hand-drawn vectors, a series of points and fills, using Adobe Illustrator or InDesign. I use the pencil tool to draw a line or the pen tool to draw a series of connected points that are then filled with color. If you look closely you can see the hand-drawn shapes.

Examples of my illustrations . . . this is arrowleaf balsamroots, paintbrush and lupines.

If you want to surround yourself with some of this beauty, turn to the SHOP page where you can order prints of these landscapes.

Or, if you’re in Portland, drop by Garden Fever or Portland Nursery where you can pick up a note card . . . or two!
