Lost Lake and Mount Hood

The heart of Mount Hood’s beauty is Lost Lake. There’s a resort here that offers non-motorized boating but it's the classic views, old-growth forests and abundant wildflowers that are the show. The forested ridge west of Lost Lake divides the Hood River drainage from the Bull Run watershed —the source of Portland’s drinking water.
