Conboy National Wildlife Refuge

Conboy Lake National Wildlife Refuge, is near the town of Glenwood, near Mount Adams in southern Washington. It’s really huge, about 6,500 acres of shallow, marshy wetlands. The lakebed was drained by early settlers. We’ve been here many times but honestly we rarely see any wildlife! But the Quaking Aspens are incredible in the fall.
