Junction Lake

This is the first drawing I did. I just love this place. It really looked like this the first day we were there. It’s in the middle of Indian Heaven Wilderness near Mt. Adams in Southwest Washington. It’s at the junction of three trails, one is the Pacific Crest Trail. One time we were sitting enjoying our snack and started chatting with a PCT through hiker. We ended up giving her all the food we had . . . she was so happy.

It’s just so beautiful up here!
